Community Model Design: This New Experimental Living Built In Germany Are Looking For Residents:;How Technology And Sociable Living Are Merged?
The experimental living is created in Germany, to see new potentials on human society progresses. A former US military camp in Germany is in transition as the location for this experiment.
"What would a commune based on digital sharing look like?" asked Professor Carlo Rotti, of Carlo Rotti Associati on the Experimental living project they are running. The challenge of the experiment is how people are going to get along in this models and how they go about an American island in the center of Europe.
This is somehow, similar to a reality TV "Big Brother" the difference is the people that will reside in the experimental living model will compose a community of 4000 people that produces their own good other than sharing accommodation, working area, and others common in old-fashioned communities.
Experimental Living Across The Globe
In history, this may not be the first experimental community ever created. The difference though is this new experiment is done with the help of high-tech designed by Rotti.
"The Farm" America's oldest experimental living located in Tennessee and run by 300 Flower Childre. It stands to the old values where 200 residents still believe in a non-violent and an environment-friendly people.
In Europe, the most famous that existed since 1971 in Copenhagen that serves at least 850 residents is "Christiana". It got closed due to marijuana trade in 2011 and eventually opened again for an experimental living.
Fusing ecology and architecture, "Arconsanti" opened in the 1970s', with architectural that works harmoniously with the environment. This community uses solar power for most of their electricity and means for heating and cooking. The same concept as what Google is doing on purchased renewable energy.
Carlo Rotti's Experimental Living Concept
This community that is being built is a composition of modernity, technology, and healthy living. A trend of the individual group shall be composed and shall create products from raw materials and electronic devices that are commonly recycled.
He intends to create a new world that is sociable other than a communal lifestyle. According to a team member, "Today, we are experiencing an atomisation of economic activity in ever smaller units that work complementary to large global firms."
