Gotham Season 3 Spoilers, Cast, News & Updates: Edward Nygma Fully Transforms To The Riddler? What Does The Cryptic Messages Mean?

The people over at Gotham appear to be quite far from being merry and jolly despite the holiday spirit. Pain, revenge and some transformations are going to be seen by fans of "Gotham" season three.

The teasers released by Gotham has been very intriguing and exciting for the fans of the pre-Batman series. Pieces are being teased bit by bit in their official social media accounts avid fans already knows by now that the show is about to take a rotation with its characters and story, especially to Edward Nygma.

Their official account gave fans a teaser with some cryptic clues about which no fan could still figure what it really means. In their tweet, there is a caption that made the series more exciting: The new super team.

In the teaser video, Barbara Kean is seen jeering closely to someone who appears to be Edward Nygma. She tells him, "Think about it Ed. Your brains, your brawn, mine, me". It may still be blurry, but fans could not avoid but think that an evil team-up will be on the rise against the lives if the people.

In another post, Edward Nygma is seen mumbling as he says the words, "I want to destroy him". Fans of the Batman comic book who knows who Nygma is had known that he was destined to become a villain sooner or later.

Now that he gets irate, and that a complete twist has been teased, could this be a new story that fans would look for? The transformation of Nygma to Riddler would be very interesting. With Jerome Valeska turning into The Joker and with Edward Nygma about to be the iconic villain, Commissioner Gordon and Young Bruce have to start preparing themselves about what is to come their city.

"Gotham" will return on January 15 on FOX.
