‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers: Pivotal Print Shop Scene Teased! More Sexy Times For Jamie & Claire Confirmed
"Outlander" fans are clamoring for details about Season 3. Teasers about the upcoming season aren't entirely scarce and one focuses on the pivotal print shop scene, which "Outlander" viewers highly look forward to.
"Outlander" Season 2 ended with a pregnant Claire (Caitriona Balfe) leaving the 18th century through the stones to reunite with her first husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies), in 1948, breaking Jaime's (Sam Heughan) heart in that process. But that devastation wouldn't last long, because in Diana Gabaldon's third "Outlander" book titled "Voyager" that the show was based on Claire returns to 1766 Scotland through the stones and meets Jaime in a print shop.
Jaime sent Claire back to 1948 to save her from the doom of the Battle of Culloden. After 20 years, Claire found out that Jaime didn't die in the battle and she set her sights upon returning to her daughter's father.
Fans of the books are looking forward to this pivotal print shop scene and Heughan knows how important it is to "Outlander" viewers. Last weekend, the actor hinted on Twitter that he and Balfe are shooting the print shop scene.
Oh you know.... Just printing stuff.

It's unknown when exactly in "Outlander" Season 3 will the print shop scene happen. Heughan and Balfe said that they've been shooting scenes separately for the upcoming season's earlier episodes. This could mean that Jaime and Claire won't see each other -- at least in early Season 3 episodes.
Heughan said in an interview with Vanity Fair in October that it's "always hard" whenever he had to shoot separate scenes with Balfe because she is such "a very good actress" and a great person "to come to work with." However, he also believes that their separation feeds a special element to the two star-crossed lovers' much-awaited reunion.
Heughan told PopSugar that the beginning of "Outlander" Season 3 will be "a slight deviation from the book." There are elements that book readers will recognize but everything else was tweaked.

In September, "Outlander" showrunner Ronald D. Moore revealed via Twitter that Jamie and Claire's reunion will be intimate. When asked by a fan if sexy scenes are in store for the duo, Moore answered, "Definitely."
Jaime and Claire's time apart have changed them both. Heughan further told PopSugar that the two's "great love for each other" will serve as their "saving grace" and it's what "brings them back together."
