Final Fantasy XV News, Updates: Gamers Don’t Want Chapter 13 Fixed; Join AMA With Noctis’ Voice Actor This Wednesday

Square Enix promised that it would be sending in free updates to fix up some of the most troubling issues of Final Fantasy XV and add in great new content to the game. Though it may sound like great news however, it looks like some gamers aren't that excited about Square Enix's fixes, especially when it comes to the weakest chapter of the game, Chapter 13.

Last week, the director of Final Fantasy XV, Hajime Tabata, announced that Square Enix would be delivering a lot of new development to the videogame through free updates. Tabata promised that the team would be delivering new sequences to add on to the games story line, make NPC characters playable, and even create character customization. However, while many feel excited over the new content planed for FFXV, others are against the videogame's developers plans to update Chapter 13 of the game.

Though many hate that Chapter 13 takes away all of the interesting elements of FFXV and forces gamers to run around in a dark, steel maze without the power to make use of magic, weapons or warping abilities, some seem to consider the chapter an essential part of the game. Sure the maze episode lasts for more than an hour in the game, it seems like a few believe that Chapter 13 is the empty narrative that's supposed to come before the triumph of every protagonist, a mood piece featuring frustration and isolation in the game. A few want to keep Chapter 13 the way it is.

Meanwhile, on other Final Fantasy 15 news, it looks like the voice actor of Noctis, Ray Chase will be holding an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit later this week to talk about FF15. Chase will be doing the AMA on the official FF15 reddit thread on Dec. 14, Wednesday at 1:00 pm EST. Everyone's invited to join the AMA and ask Chase anything about the game and anything that they'd like to ask in general.
