In a recently concluded DJI AirWorks event held in San Francisco, DJI's communication team expressed how they are going about their innovations. They assured everyone in the event that they are constantly looking into the different needs and interests of consumers.

In fact, DJI's North America Corporate Communication Director Adam Lisberg expressed that they are more focused in providing the needs of consumers more than looking into how their sales is increasing. "We're not driven by marketing, we're driven by engineers.

We've seen how customers have integrated these tools into their projects, and it's our goal to support them as they grow and at scale. All of the feedback they provide is info we get into our R&D department so that we can create packages that work for different users," he said.

DJI's Michael Perry was also in the event and he was the one who introduced one of DJI's next big move: a major expansion in their software. This allows the company to explore more through Data-connected apps and expand to creating GPS-enabled drones and trackers for wider footage scope.

In the two-day event, participants were made to identify the different kinds of industries and users which highly needs the support of drones. Some of these were identified in industries like Agriculture, Infrastructure, Public Safety and Inspection. Now, that defeats the notion that DJI only focuses on the needs of travelers and adventure-seekers.

Today, even when DJI received a surge of complaints regarding DJI Mavic Pro's delay of delivery in their shipments, the company has still received a lot of great reviews for the said model. Consumers did not expect that its size can be compared to that of a sandwich. But being small in size does not mean it does not perform beyond expectation.

The size allows the unit to fly through small spaces and as for some reviewers, it's easy to adjust with its controls. Also, aside from DJI Mavic Pro, the drone-focused tech giant has also recently released some of the best drones in the market: the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and the DJI Inspire 2.
