Apple iOS 10.2 Update, News: iOS 10 Jailbreak Might Be Impossible After Update? Here Is What We Found Out

Apple's latest iOS 10.2 update is believed to cause iOS 10 jailbreak difficult and almost impossible. The reason behind is that the newest firmware is expected to patch a huge number of bugs. It could also be possible that Apple iOS 10.2 is as unbreakable as the current version, making it tough for the popular hacking team Pangu to create an iOS 10 jailbreak.

The well-known jailbreaker Luca Todesco advised that it is better for iOS users to stay with the current Apple firmware. Todesco took to his Twitter account to warn his followers that Apple iOS 10.2 will apparently kill several bugs so staying on Apple 10.1.1 is a "wise choice." However, it can be noted that Pangu has not released the previously hinted iOS 10 jailbreak as of this posting.

Now that Apple is launching another firmware, could it still be possible for Pangu to release their iOS 10 jailbreak? The hacking group has been silent about the official launch date of the iOS 10 jailbreak despite the number of users who require the hack. The delay might cause users to give up on waiting and just proceed with Apple iOS 10.2.

Additionally, sticking to an older Apple firmware may cause users to miss out on the latest features, improvements and security patches as pointed out by WCCFTech. Furthermore, a report from MobilenApps claimed that having a device jailbroken makes it more susceptible to hacking. Of course, there are pros and cons of having a smartphone jailbroken and one of the advantages is to get paid apps for free.

However, iOS jailbreak may cause poor device stability and security as well. That said, Apple has been keen in providing updates to ensure the security of their operating system and fixing bugs is a priority. That's why the company is reportedly giving up to $100,000 to those who can find a bug in their system as per International Business Times report.

Users are now left to weigh the consequences of waiting for the iOS 10 jailbreak and proceeding with the latest iOS 10.2 update. Do you believe that it is better to stick to iOS 10.1.1 for now? Let us know your thoughts in our comments section below.
