Resident Evil 7 News: Playable Teaser Now Made Available Before December Ends

Before December ends, console users for both the Xbox One and PC will finally get their hands on Resident Evil 7.

Developer and publisher Capcom will be granting fans of the survival horror series game a chance to play a demo of Resident Evil 7 which will be released before the month ends, according to IGN.

Resident Evil 7 will have its demo launch earlier for Xbox One on Dec. 9, while PC users can access the playable teaser at a much later date on Dec. 19. This upcoming release is a heightened up version of the Resident Evil Midnight demo which takes into account the Beginning Hour version.

This latest update will now include a PS4 Pro and HDR support via 4K. Prior to this announcement, Capcom already made it public that the demo will cover an optional PSVR.

Meanwhile, fans have been left in a quandary with the Resident Evil demo's dummy finger puzzle for the last six months. But with this update, an answer to the riddle which has also been included via an eerie finger item.

According to Redditt, you must follow this order by picking up certain items on Resident Evil 7. The gaming community,however, has been divided in this matter, as some players have managed to skip the whole process while still having success in solving the finger puzzle. Others though have reported that despite religiously following the 34-step instructions, the puzzle still remains to be unsolved. Somehow, we could wonder if there is a bug in the demos being distributed.

Here are the samples of what to follow for this mysterious crusade.

  • Venture into the attic and concentrate your eyes on the bright light following the bolted door.
  • Go to the basement then point at the body bag on the table.
  • Do a full turnaround when you see a mirror.
