Space fantasy online first person shooter game Battleborn will finally be unlocking all its primary characters along with a new story mode and an updated training module.

This winter update from publisher 2K Games and developer Gearbox Software will now allow players to access all the 25 characters of Battleborn after you have finished the Prologue mode, according to PC Gamer.

Players will now also have a chance of being awarded new skins after they have completed a challenge. These tasks however unlike before are much easier. Details of Battleborn updates and other user interface upgrades which will give players a new improved gaming experience are to be announced this coming Dec. 8 courtesy of a live broadcast as mentioned in Gearbox's Twitch.

Below are just some of the latest key Battleborn features that have been added besides the main quest arc and the two new training modes.

  • Players are required to check daily for rewards and quests for both Battleborn multiplayer and story mode.
  • Continuing boost of your Command and Character rank. The available cap now for Command Rank is 150 while a rank of 20 is given for each character.
  • Battleborn credit system overhauled for numerous unlocks and higher chances of gaining loot packs.
  • Loot packs will now include The Core Pack which can be accessed via the Marketplace.
  • Public PvP provides more credits, but early leavers will not be given any credits.

Battleborn will have a PS4 Pro support courtesy of a PlayStation 4 version, which will allow a playback of either 1080p via 60 FPS or 4K playback via 30 FPS.

Battleborn was released worldwide on May 3, 2016. Gearbox had intended Battleborn be free-to-play from the start, according to the site's source, but publisher 2K decided on a conventional release at full price. However, the price of Battleborn has been trimmed down from the initial launching price of 60 USD to 20 USD.
