iPhone 7 was reportedly noted as the giant tech company's first take on waterproofing its handsets. It should be noted that the iPhone 7 rolled out sans the 3.5mm headphone jack that paved the way for the said feature. The iPhone 7 was also noted for its speed performance which was noted to be faster than the HTC 10 and five other phones.

In addition, a speed test involving the iPhone 7 against the Galaxy S7, LG G5 and Sony XZ reportedly revealed the iPhone 7 with the fastest speed. On that note, Apple has been known for making its own chipsets and software for their flagship products. Additionally, the Google Pixel was noted as second to the iPhone 7 in speed while the Sony XZ was said to be the slowest handset. Additionally, the Galaxy S7 included wraps up the Top Three Fastest Handsets in 2016.

Previously, the iPhone 7 was also proven to be faster than the now discontinued Galaxy Note 7. On that note, the iPhone 7 reportedly takes only 1 minute and 40 seconds to open and close an app. On the contrary, the controversial Samsung flagship took 3 minutes and 14 seconds to accomplish the same feat, Express UK reported.

In other news, the iPhone 7 was noted for lack of redesign. Apparently, the company's handset in 2016 sported a design similar to its predecessors, the iPhone 6 and 6s. However, the company did remove the visible antenna bands, added dust and water-resistant features as well as revealed a new color option, Fool.com reported.

iPhone 7 in Jet Black is said to be the most saleable handset from the company. However, it is speculated that the iPhone 7 was not able to reach expectations when it comes to sales. Previously, Apple would release the number of units sold in the first week of availability, which it refused to reveal when it came to the iPhone 7.  Watch the iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 Speed Test here:
