Moto G4 And Moto G4 Plus Received Android 7.0 Nougat Update: Motorola Finally Confirmed?

After months and months of waiting and Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus still have not received the Android 7.0 Nougat update. While Motorola already provided an update to most of its devices but the company still has left out some of its popular phones.

Motorola already confirmed that it will be giving the necessary update for its Moto Z and Moto Z Force this coming week but it still did not provide any information if Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus would be included. According to the Lenovo-owned company, it is expected that the Android 7.0 Nougat will be available at the last quarter of 2016.

Since the end of the year is here, most users are expecting Motorola would deliver its promise and provide the needed 7.0 Nougat to Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play. However, the company has not set a specific date yet about the release of their new operating system. 

Lenovo confirmed that the rest of its devices which includes the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto G Play (4thGen), Moto X Style, Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid and Nexus 6 would get the 7.0 Nougat. 

Other known devices which are not confirmed to receive the new OS are Moto X (2nd Gen), Moto X (3rd Gen), Moto E3, Moto E3 Power and Moto G3, IBT reported. The reason that some of its 2014 devices were not considered for the update is because of its hardware limitations. 

In a recent report made by News Everyday, The Lenovo-owned company may still give the new OS to Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus since a lot of its users are waiting for the 7.0 Nougat. Motorola may still be giving the update really soon.
