Injustice 2 March 2017 Release Date Confirmed? New Story Reveals New Characters On The Roster
An accidental leak by GameStop revealed the release date of Injustice 2. However, there has been no official word yet from the developer Netherrealm Studios. The game doesn't have an official release date beyond 2017 and so those eager gamers don't actually know when they'll be able to get their hands on it.
It was imminent that some type of comic-hero game from the DC brand would be unveiled, but nobody expected a game of this extent to the surface. In an unintentional leak to store managers of GameStop from NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, co-creator of ''Mortal Kombat'' and director of ''Batman: Arkham Origins,'' is planning an official sequel to his Injustice: Gods Among Us fighting game. The next blockbuster title from NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2, announced trailer and showcased heroes donning various armored suits, knowing that this wasn't a simple cosmetic addition to intensifying the trailer.
According to University Herald, there are hints that Injustice 2 will feature new characters and environments. The Injustice sequel will also feature a new "Gear System" that allows the players to customize their fighters. This new surface will feature RPG-like mechanics, rewarding players with loot drops after each match.
Customization not only changes the look of the fighter but will also power up the hero or villain and change the strategy and approach used in battle. The process of gearing up will ultimately lead to a roster of characters that can be greatly different than anyone else's. In Injustice 2, the developer is introducing new features that will change the way fans play fighting games.
PlayStation Lifestyle reported the possibility of having guest characters in Injustice 2. Ed Boon explained: "We're always interested in pushing the genre forward and allowing players to customize and level up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains is an important leap."
Injustice 2 is expected to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC by March 31, 2017, which will be in time before the first Justice League. And also expect to see a higher level of environmental interactions and destructions, as well as the continuation of the Injustice story.
