Episode 11 of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will showcase both highs and lows for the main characters. Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will finally give birth but this happy event would mean the opposite for Amy (Mayim Bialik).

In the upcoming "The Big Bang Theory" episode titled "The Birthday Synchronicity," Bernadette will be taken to the hospital by Howard (Simon Helberg), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), and Stuart (Kevin Sussman) to deliver her baby. The birth, however, coincides with Amy's birthday sex.

In Season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory," Amy and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) first had sex on the former's birthday. Since then, they decided to have sex at least once a year on the same date but because of Bernadette's baby, it appears that the tradition wouldn't go exactly as planned and Amy would be pissed off about it.

In episode 11 of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, Sheldon wakes Amy up in the middle of the night to wish her a happy birthday. Sheldon's birthday gift to her was a framed MRI scan of his brain. Sheldon points at one bright spot in the image and tells Amy that that part is always thinking about her.

Amy loved Sheldon's gesture and they began kissing to finally do the former's birthday sex. It was in that moment when Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) knock on their door to tell them that Bernadette is going into labor, but that turned out to be a false alarm because a nurse sent Howard, Raj, and Stuart home. Apparently, Bernadette's contractions aren't close enough yet.

Sheldon, Amy, Leonard, and Penny then went back to their respective apartments to have sexy time. But Raj interrupts them once again and announces that Bernadette is having the baby, so they all troop to the hospital to welcome their friends' bundle of joy. "The Birthday Synchronicity" will air on CBS on Thursday, Dec. 15 instead of the previously announced Dec. 8 release date.

Episode 10 of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 titled "The Property Division Collision" featured a disagreement between Leonard and Sheldon as they tried to divide their possessions and live in separate apartments with their significant others. Christopher Lloyd guest starred in the episode as Theodore, Penny and Leonard's new roommate who Sheldon accepted without consulting the couple first as an act of revenge on Leonard.
