December is a special month for "Clash of Clans" (COC) players who are expecting a very big update from Supercell. Though the developer remains tight-lipped with this development, rumors are swirling around the gaming community that COC players will have new troops, among others.

The December update for "Clash of Clans" might include the release of a free gem trial period, which will allow players to obtain these resources without costing them a single dime. However, this event will only last for five days this month.

Supercell is yet to confirm the exact release of the December update. It is rumored to go live on December 6 and onwards. From then on, "Clash of Clans" players will be rewarded by Supercell with huge enhancements and fixes.

Meanwhile, the December update of COC is rumored to have virtual reality (VR) enhancements as well as mass attacks, as reported in News Every Day. The incoming update is aimed to unseat Pokemon GO as the industry's number one mobile game. The "Clash of Clans" patch is designed to attract more gamers.

Also confirmed in the COC December patch are sea creatures, sea monsters, mermaids and even piratess. "Clash of Clans" Players can win 50,000 Gold Rewards from repairing damaged battleships.

The December 2016 update for "Clash of Clans" will either make or break the future of the MMO game. The continued domination by "Pokemon GO" is a big threat to Supercell. Of course, the game developer will not just sit back and be left in the competition.

One of the new battle features to be added in "Clash of Clans" are the new heroes or troops. It is speculated before that the December 2016 patch will have water-based infrastructure called shipwreck.

"Clash of Clans'" December 2016 update will focus on a new hero named Red Barbarian King. Recently, the game received an update in preparation for the big one this December. The video below will provide you some hints on the COC's December update.
