Sega Announces ‘Yakuza 6’ and ‘Yakuza 0’ To Be Released To Western Market

“Yakuza” is a game, which shows the dark sides of the underground life. Machinations, betrayal, drama, action and much more revealed in a sequence of ones and zeroes. Now the newest part of the game “Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” will be released to western markets and the remake of “Yakuza 0” will follow with it.

The good news is delivered by Gaming Bolt. “Yakuza 0” and “Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” will be released on the western market and western gamers will finally have the chance to try SEGA’s new gem. “Yakuza 0” the remake of the PS 2 series prequel will be released in mid-2017, while “Yakuza 6” will not be delivered to western markets before the year of 2018.

Even though it is a whole lot of time to wait for a game to get localized to western markets, it is good to know that the titles are on their way. During this time, there should be more news and updates released to keep the hype going.

If you wonder what the goodies coming with the remastered version of “Yakuza 0” are, Gematsu has the answers you need. The game is said to have been rebuilt from scratch. Graphics have been optimized to the current generation, with HD assets added, running on 1080p at 60FPS. Thirty minutes of additional cutscenes have also been added to the title. This will help gamers get a better understanding of the story in “Yakuza 0” and will give veterans something to come back for. New levels have also been added to the game, and storytelling techniques have been polished. There are also a large variety of mini-games and distractions,” Pocket Circuit Car Racing”, “MesuKing: Battle Bug Beauties” and many more.

In “Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” protagonist Kazuma Kiryu will find out what people are ready to sacrifice to protect their family, no matter if it is a family of blood or emotional bond. Other news shared by Otaku Study include that the game will implement the “Dragon Engine” for which SEGA claims will make “Yakuza 6” the most technologically advanced “Yakuza” title to have yet been released.

“Yakuza 0” will be released in mid-2017, “Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” will be released in 2018.
