"Young Justice" producer started a hashtag on Twitter in a move to bring attention to "Gargoyles." Weisman rolled out the hashtag #WeLiveAgain on Sunday as part of his efforts to "Bring back Gargoyles comics." If you happen to forget about one of the well-celebrated comics in 2006, continue reading below for some relevant facts.

Now that "Young Justice" was already renewed for Season 3, Weisman is apparently making a move to renew "Gargoyles." The defenders of the night animated TV series with the same name were aired in 1994 until 1997. The show is centered on the adventures of the medieval gargoyles as they protect the modern day New York city at night.

The comic counterpart, however, only referenced the TV series in its first two issues and continued with a different arc. "Gargoyles" comics were produced by Slave Labor Graphics and licensed by Disney. The comic book series were distributed in 2006 but come 2009, SLG decided to halt production due to an increase in Disney licensing fees, reportedly.

However, seven years after, "Gargoyles" co-author Weisman has decided to call the attention of fans to give the comic another chance. Apparently, many fans are still into the "Gargoyles'" story as evidenced by the support that the author is getting on Twitter. Weisman even retweeted a fan's response which stated that anything that the comic writer touches is gold.

Meanwhile, for fans of "Young Justice," nothing has been officially confirmed regarding the show as of this posting but it seems that the producers are gearing up for something huge. Supporters of the animated TV series have started speculating on who among the "Young Justice" characters will reappear as the show returns. Fan suggestions on who to add in the Season 3 cast are also coming in which just makes everything so exciting, right?

In the meantime, let us all wait until the official release of "Young Justice" Season 3 and who knows if "Gargoyles" comic will also be renewed before the year wraps up? For now, check out the heroic night creatures' animated TV series in the video below. Also, drop us a comment to let us know your thoughts on "Gargoyles" petition.
