'Westworld' Season Finale "Bicameral Mind" Spoilers; "Well-Tempered Clavier" Reveals Arnold's Identity; Truth About MIB & Bernard Confirms Different Timelines
The penultimate "Westworld" episode entitled "The Well-Tempered Clavier" presented yet another shocking revelation, and of course, death, as expected, with more answers bearing, even more, mysteries. Fans can finally tick Arnold's identity off the list of mysteries to figure out in "Westworld" who, as it turns out, is the dead co-creator of the amusement park. (Be warned, spoilers ahead!)
"Westworld" penultimate episode "The Well-Tempered Clavier" killed off a major character. It was earlier revealed that Bernard is a host controlled by Ford. The latest episode reveals that Bernard is indeed Arnold that who was re-created by Ford out of loneliness. Out of frustration with his latest discovery as a "Westworld" host, Bernard tried to kill Dr. Ford by controlling Clementine to put a gun to Ford's head. But, Ford was able to overwrite the code, stop Clementine from pulling the trigger, and commanded Bernard to put the gun to his head and kill himself.
The Man In Black is as mysterious as ever, and the latest episode of "Westworld" showed a scene with a certain Charlotte informing him of Theresa's death, confirming that he lives in the same timeline as Ford's. In fact, the MIB is one of the "board" that is planning to push Ford out of "Westworld" park.
By the end of the episode, as Dolores was strolling around an abandoned "Westworld" laboratory where hosts are usually tested, Dolores revealed that she killed Arnold. However, that could just be a thought incepted into her memory as Ford had done many times before. Finally, as Dolores and the MIB meet, Dolores seem to have recalled a bad memory as she reacts like a scared woman about to run away.
"Westworld" season 1 finale will be a 90-minute episode entitled "Bicameral Mind" which will air next week. The preview reveals a flustered Teddy waking up in a train. Maeve is dressed in a corporate attire on an elevator talking to Felix, walking towards a room with a couple of people behind her back. The trailer then ends with Dolores seemingly trying to put a bullet to her head.
