The Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Fans Have Been Speculating About Mythologized Last Four Words
Netflix uncovers all four new episodes of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life". Everyone was not expecting at the stunning ending. The mythologized last four words of Gilmore Girls were officially exposed.
The highly awaited last four words are:
Rory: Mom?
Lorelai: Yeah?
Rory: I'm pregnant.
Alexis Bledel exclusively revealed ET that she was also surprised. The 35-year-old actress wasn't imagining at the conclusion on what would Amy Sherman-Palladino wanted viewers to think.
Sherman-Palladino always had those four words in mind in the original series finale. She admitted that she has been planning this finale since the series' WB inception in 2000. She concluded that people desire to hear those lines.
She said, "Almost never in a career or in life do you ever get to do anything that you want to do, so the fact that we got to do it, the way that we wanted to do it, was like fate."
Bledel mentioned on ET that she was grateful to be in the series and she's not even looking forward at the idea of doing more. She added that such special story is a bit of a cliffhanger.
The actress has already been considering of what kind of a mother Rory would be. Perhaps Rory would do things inversely, but would undeniably be a lot of Lorelai's influence.
Questions are left for the fans to think. When did Rory get pregnant? Who's the father of the child?
Is the father Logan? He is the most obvious candidate because they had been sleeping together until their affair ended in the "Fall" episode.
Perchance, is it Jess? He is the hot and colossal high school boyfriend of Rory. Also obviously he never stopped loving her.
Is it perhaps Dean? Or, it is possibly Paul? These two had a mind-blowing sex that Rory doesn't even remember at all.
Many eager fans came with the idea that it's possible she wanted to have a baby herself and went the IVF route for assistance to find fertility specialist Paris Geller. If that is the case, they would be bringing the baby without a daddy in the scenario at all.
