Black Friday 2016: Sony Announces 10% to 80% Discounts For PlayStation Store; Movies Priced At $1.99; PS4 Titles As Low As $2.99

Sony has revealed its one-use-only 10% discount code for Black Friday to anyone who wants to use it on The PlayStation Store. The code - D9NGJ7NF3L - covers the price of a total cart, allowing buyers to reduce the price tag of multiple games. Discounts of up to 80% are set for movies and games.

The website IGN advises buyers to hold onto the code until Black Friday which will fall on November 25. The discounts offered will be available until Tuesday, November 29. It is noted that "Overwatch", "Hitman," and "The Witcher" are some of the titles that have weighty cuts.

News Everyday reported recently that 20% to 75% discounts had been confirmed for Black Friday for popular video games including Sony's PS4 titles. Sony will serve PS4 bundles and PlayStation Store deals.

The PlayStation Blog published a huge list of deals being offered this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Amazing sales are offered for various game titles such as "Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition" for $5.99, "Mad Max" for $7.99, "Battlefront" for $7.49, "Arkham Knight" for $9.99, "Farcry Primal" for $14.99, and "Tell Tale Batman" which is half off.

The blog also outlined a list of movies that will have hefty discounts this Black Friday. Some of the notables include Oscar winners "No Country For Old Men," "Mad Max: Fury Road," and "Fargo." Fan favorites such as "The Hunger Games" series will fetch at $6.99 each while "Justice League: Gods & Monsters" and "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis" are priced at $7.99.

Savings of up to 70% are set for games such as like "Destiny - The Collection," "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition", "Grand Theft Auto V" and more, as well as films like "Interstellar" and "Warcraft." PS Plus members will have the opportunity to save up to 80 percent.
