The recently released nostalgic console is garnering quite a few bucks in eBay. Nintendo NES Classic is still hard to find in the States. Since Nintendo didn't foresee the high demand for their console, so it immediately sold out few hours after its release. So for those who ran out of stocks, they resort to looking it up on auction sites. eBay, a popular auction site is not exempted to this.

According to eBay's Vice President of North America Merchandising, Hard Goods, Jay Hanson, "eBay is the destination for hard-to-find consoles, from the rare and vintage variety, to hot trending options, like the Nintendo NES Classic Edition." The auction site provided numbers via Polygon stating that the average price of NES Classic Edition console is around $230 three days after its official launch. That's thrice the original price of the console which is around $60.

Because of the high demand, eBay is making guarantees to sellers who wish to auction their NES Classic Edition on their website. They guarantee sellers big profits in return for their investment on auctioning their NES Classic consoles. Here is a screencap of what eBay says to sellers of NES Classic Consoles.
