French Based Terror Group linked to ISIS Caught Entering Britain With Fake French Passport; Terror Cell Plans to Simultaneously Bomb Europe
It came with a warning from the US government specifically for American citizens that a terror group is planning to bomb UK and France at the same time come Christmas Holidays.
News just came in that a member of the terror cell entering the Britain with a fake French passport. Consequently, the terrorist cell members were caught in the process of advanced planning of their attacks directed towards Paris and Marseille.
The seven terrorist cell members were on the crackdown list and had been in the crosshairs of Intelligence for months before they were validated to be on the move to implement their terrorist schemes. It was as chilling as it is for the coming Christmas Fair in Strasbourg that will be up in a few days' time. Four of the Terrorist cell group were collared in Strasbourg.
As reported by Le Parisien, one of the cell members is a Moroccan living in Portugal named Hicham el Hanafi, 26, whom intelligence apprehended when trying to enter UK with the fake French passport. The Portuguese Intelligence Service had Hanafi on their sights for several months and issued warnings to countries of the terrorist being a radical from an article in The Telegraph stated.
Reports showed that Hanafi had been travelling all over Europe trying to raise funds to buy weapons and is planning a lone wolf attack in Marseille where he was arrested. An Afghan housing him, also was nabbed.
A potential tragedy could have fallen in the hands of either the English or the French government.
A previous terrorist plan that failed when members of the terror cell group were subdued last 2000 by Algerian and French terrorists who trained in Afghanistan for their mission.
The US State Advisory had pointed out that previous attacks struck last year in Belgium, France, Germany, and Turkey. The plan still is on the run for renewed attacks all over Europe, saying that stern warnings will be in effect till February 2017, as reported by an article in Sky News.
The US government said that it will expect terrorist strikes after the takeover of two cities in Iraq namely, Mosul and Raqqa from ISIS.
