After the initial confirmation of ADR1FT's, No Man's Sky counterpart, release, fans were disappointed to hear that the game is not pushing through. Or at least, it will no longer be released on the Xbox One platform.

ADR1FT has recently been confirmed for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 platforms. Now, game writer Adam Orth is retracting the statement and issued a new one saying that the game will no longer be played on Xbox One.

What was the reason behind the sudden decision? It was reported that Orth was going through some personal issues and that these were brought about by his recent separation from Microsoft while on the process of creating the game.

Fans of the ADR1FT will still be able to play the game on PC, PS4, and the VR platform. Despite the game getting the green light for all of these platforms, Microsoft's Xbox One console remained dejected.

To this day, the details are still unclear on why Orth is pulling the game from the said platform. However, in his statement, he wished fans will be able to enjoy the game on these other platforms, according to his interview.

ADR1FT's virtual reality version has been one of the most popular and liked the game in the VR world. Fans who uses the PlayStation VR will unfortunately not be able to play the game as the platform is still unable to adapt the title. However, ADR1FT on VR is currently available on the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive.

ADR1FT is a title that is usually compared to another action-adventure, survival game "No Man's Sky." Both of these are great games that feature space exploration, but it was reported that the latter is subtly on a hiatus.

In his interview that's been featured on the GamesIndustry, Orth reflected back on the time when he made the Twitter post that potentially changed his life forever. Adam Orth and some members of his family became the target of internet hate, after the hashtag "deal with it" appeared on his Twitter page.

In the interview, Orth said, "The reason that internet threats are terrifying is not the possibility of the realization of a violent act; it's that society has regressed to the point that this behavior and discourse is an acceptable and expected response to something someone doesn't like or agree with."

This statement had the fans questioning whether or not they should be thankful that the game ADR1FT arrived before everything comes down to cancellation.
