The Vampire Diaries - Latest Updates, Spoilers, Character Revivals and More
Warning - spoilers ahead. While it was already established that Nina Dobrev wouldn't be seen in a Vampire Diaries set soon, show runners have not stopped teasing about the revival of Katherine Pierce.
According to TV Guide, The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 4 had been filled with mini hints and foreshadowing, setting up for a possible reunion between Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. Fans are still holding out hope to see these two.
Katherine's revival will have something to do with the show's final season. Back in 2014, executive producer Caroline Dries told TV Guide that, "We don't say anything religious like Heaven or Hell, but that's the implication - she's going to a dark world." when asked about where Katherine went when she was taken.
This could mean that fans will see Katherine in hell - or not. After all, the show hasn't visited Hell yet. The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 5 titled "Coming Home was a Mistake" will show Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) downward spiral on a dangerous path of self-destruction. Could these actions possibly mean that he is passed the point of no return, or is there still hope?
On the other hand, due to his unwillingness to give up on his brother, Stefan (Paul Wesley) will be forced to make a difficult decision that could potentially change their relationship forever. Trying to break through to Enzo (Michael Malarkey), Bonnie (Kat Graham) turns to Caroline (Candice King) for some advice.
Fans will also see Matt (Zach Roerig) trying to decipher a mysterious box of messages that ha has received. What could it be? The episode is rumored to end with Stefan and the others being forced to remember what matters most to them after tragedy strikes a little too close to home.
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 5 airs November 18 on the CW Network
