'Hunter x Hunter' Confirmed To Be Coming Out In 2017?

What is happening with “Hunter X Hunter” and where are things going for the successful manga series? The creator of “Hunter X Hunter”, Yoshihiro Togashi has been reported to have developed certain health problems, which stop him from performing his work.

As readers probably know, creating even a single chapter of manga is a long, process paired with tedious work and long hours of drawing. According to Christian Today, Yoshihiro Togashi’s current state has been even made worse by pains he has been experiencing in his back. He has tried hiring a team to do the heavy work for him, but unsatisfied with the results, has decided to halt the publishing process for an unspecified period of time.

Otaku Magazine has shared a time table, released by Shonen Jump, which shows the planned haitus of the series since its inception in 1998, until the end of 2016.
Shonen Jump have promised that as soon as the series is back in production, the readers will be notified. For now, all that the followers of “Hunter X Hunter” can do is hope that Yoshihiro Togashi’s health will improve and he will be able to go back to work.

Some hope for the future of the series comes from Movie News Guide. The portal shares news, that Yoshihiro Togashi and his wife Naoko Takeuchi have joined forces to put the 361st chapter of “Hunter X Hunter” in production. Naoko Takeuchi, just like her husband is an experienced manga writer and creator of the successful manga series “Sailor Moon”.

This collaboration may give hope to fans, who have not seen a new chapter of the series in quite a while.
Even though nothing cannot be promised at the moment, chapter 361 of “Hunter X Hunter” is expected to come out in the middle of 2017.
