Surface Studio vs. MacBook Pro; Microsoft Against Apple In The The PC War On; Interesting Developments In The Battle
Ever since Microsoft landed into hardware foray, it was trying to beat Apple with its devices, promotions, and innovation. This time, Microsoft is able to achieve what it intended clearly with the latest Microsoft Surface Studio, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. Though Apple could make an impression with its release of new MacBook Pros 2016, it failed to make an impact in the industry.
It is reported that the Surface Studio went out of stock in online and it would only be available for pre-order with a delivery date of early 2017. Especially the innovation in the launch "Surface Dial" has a huge demand and it is reported that Microsoft is struggling to meet the demand. The new MacBook Pros have introduced a new enhancement called "Touch Bar" that can replace the functionality of Touch Screen. It is yet to know how people would perceive this new feature.

Interestingly, the official introduction videos of both Microsoft Surface Studio and new MacBook Pro has attracted millions of views. But, Surface Studio is the winner in the number of viewers with 8.5 million views so far, whereas MacBook Pro could attract only 3.2 million viewers. Anyone can guess the market momentum as both the videos are uploaded within one day and almost a week overs since its upload.

It is further reported that the price of new MacBook 2016 is inflated and users may not be interested in that price, considering there is no significant tech innovation in the device. Though the base model of Microsoft Surface Studio is priced at $2,999, people think that it is an ultimate graphic designing tool and the device is worthy for the price.
Significantly Panos Panay, head of Microsoft's device business, confirmed that more innovation can be expected from Microsoft and it won't last with Surface Dial and Surface Studio, in an interview. Similarly, Apple Design Chief Jony Ive also said that MacBook Pro 2016's Touch Bar is just a beginning and the team would like to do more innovation in that direction.
