Amy Schumer, 35, is well-known for her different comedic stylings. The actress/comic might have taken things too far this time with a viral video that's been getting a lot of heat from Beyonce fans worldwide.

Fans will remember Beyonce's music video for her song Formation, that she released in January. The song is centered around the black female empowerment. Both the song and video speaks about keeping in touch with one's roots. It also addresses racism, police brutality, and of course, the Black Lives Matter movement.

In Beyonce's version of the music video, it showed the superstar sitting on top of a New Orleans police car sinking in floodwaters. The video also shows images of a hooded black child facing the police and graffiti written on a wall that says "Stop Shooting Us."

In a viral video online, a sweaty Schumer dancing to Beyonce's "Formation" next to Goldie Hawn, Joan Cusack and Wanda Sykes. The comedian along with other actresses filmed the video in a Hawaiian jungle while filming a mother-daughter comedy.

Some fans on different social media networks such as Facebook and Twitters are slamming Schumer's video on charges of cultural appropriation. Twitter users claimed that Schumer's video was distasteful and racist. Watch the video below.

Schumer brushed off all the critics who said her parody of Beyonce's "Formation" video is racially insensitive and claimed that the video was a "tribute" instead of a parody. In the video, the comedian along with other co-actresses dance in muddy slip dresses while lip-syncing to Beyonce's hit song.

As of today, the Youtube video has thrice as many negative votes compared to its positive recommendations. Schumer took on to social media and thanked Tidal - a company owned by Beyonce herself and husband Jay-z - for releasing the controversial video. In the same statement Schumer also wrote, "We had so much fun making this tribute. All love and women inspiring each other."

Beyonce and husband Jay-z have not yet issued a statement on the matter.
