Marijuana in the Form of Lip Balm Enters the Streets

The latest entrant on the streets is a new kind of wax, a marijuana product which has the appearance and feel of a lip balm . The product ,also called Butter and Honeycomb, comes in lip balm jars and can be eaten or smoked using a bong or an electronic cigarette, according to Fox News.

The wax gives a  high due to the presence of the chemical called THC. It delivers the same kick as smoking  15-20 joints of weed.

In a recent drug bust, Police in Roswell, Ga.dDiscovered 80 grams of Wax from a drug ring that was selling the product to high school students.

"It's just an extra kick," . "It gets 'em higher and it gets 'em higher faster. The 15-20 joints you smoke can equal a dose of the Wax.", said Roswell Police Officer Zachary Frommer to Fox 5.

"You're getting a lot of home cooks, a lot of teenagers and others that are trying to make it at home," Frommer said. "And because of the things you need to use to make it, because they're flammable and they're combustible and you may end up blowing up your house or burning yourself.", he added.

Students in campus apply wax on their lips and  other parts of the body to get a high. Within minutes, they become sensual and psychotic. They then take their clothes off and indulge in lewd acts, teachers said, according to Christwire.org.

The Drug Enforcement Agency had warned in April that Wax use was spreading across the United States.
