'iZombie' Season 3 Update: Release Date and Spoilers - Liv's New Boyfriend?

"iZombie" fans will have to continue to wait awhile for the official release date of Season 3. It was confirmed that CW made the decision to push the release of Season 3 to 2017, according to some reports. There has not been an exact release date announced.

CW claims to have made the decision to push the release date of "iZombie Season 3" to 2017 in order to strengthen the midseason programming. "iZombie" fans began to worry that the show would not be renewed for another season when Season 2 did not do as well as the Season 1 did.

According to PremiereDate.tv, Season 2 of iZombie had roughly 22 percent less viewers than Season 1 of the series did. The evident decrease of viewers made the fans panic for the possible cancellation of the show. Fortunately, the network has decided to give the series another chance by renewing it for Season 3.

It is also likely the network changed the release date up to see if the change would help increase the ratings. If iZombie does not manage to maintain their viewer ratings from last season or see an increase, this could be the last season fans get to enjoy.

The question is, will this mysterious boyfriend have entered Liv's life by the time she eats the brain of a dominatrix? Could eating that particular brain cause some problems between her and her new mysterious boyfriend?
