Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Are Selling Their Home & Vineyard in France
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly mutually agreed to sell their estate in the South of France. UsWeekly.com have reported that the couple have agreed to sell their luxury estate, and the site has already been valued. The 1200-acre mansion, found hear the Provence village of Correns in the South of France, boasts a vineyard that produces a highly-acclaimed Rosé wine - which even bears the family Jolie-Pitt name.
Pitt and Jolie held their wedding ceremony at the château in 2014 - six years after purchasing it for roughly $60 million (£49million) when the pair bought it back in 2012. Some buildings on the property date to the 17th century and many believe philosopher Saint Thomas Aquinas once spent days at the historic estate, People reported.
In addition to a 35-room main house, there are also several tenant residences on the property. The estate is also home to a recording studio - where Pink Floyd recorded tracks for "The Wall" - and an award-winning vineyard.
Another source tells Us Magazine that Brangelina is planning to sell all of their joint property in the wake of their breakup. Angelina and the children are currently living in a rental house in Los Angeles. "It is a five-bedroom, 4,400-square-foot bluff-top estate with a private path that leads to the beach," an insider confirmed on September 24.
This September, It was revealed that the Hollywood power couple would be divorcing after a twelve year relationship and two year marriage. In marriage documents citing 'irreconcilable differences', it was reported that Angelina had been the one to file for divorce and wanted joint legal custody of their six children, but sole physical custody with visitation rights for Brad.
It is believed that Brad has not contested her request. On Sept. 14, Pitt and their eldest son Maddox, 15, were allegedly involved in a mid-flight altercation that is still under investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services and the FBI.
