At 50, women are expected to have grandchildren. But not in the case of singer Janet Jackson. The first-time mom finally and confidently showed her baby bump to a magazine just recently.

Even when the news broke last May this year, Janet Jackson maintained a low-profile take in her pregnancy by donning dark-colored sweater, sweatpants and scarves. The actress was first heard subtly breaking the news about why she had to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour through a self-taken video posted on her social media account.

Everyone noticed how the singer begged all of the fans and her workmates to "try and understand that it's important that (she'd take a break} now." After the video spread all over the internet, the news about her pregnancy was still not confirmed. Speculations was up but Janet Jackson also made a mention that she needed to rest as ordered by her doctor. Despite the sudden announcement, she promised to "continue the tour as soon as (she) possibly can." The singer did not say a word about what she specific medical concerns she needed to attend to.

It was only on Wednesday when the actress opened up to a publication. "We thank God for our blessing," Janet Jackson expressed in an exclusive interview with People. Included in the exclusive report is a recent photo of the 50-year-old singer where she reveals her baby bump.

Billionaire Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana married the singer back in 2012 in Qatar, Romper reports. The ceremony was very intimate that it did not go rife over the internet. Janet Jackson and Wissam was recently spotted in London looking for baby stuff. The couple are reported to be very inlove with each other. To recall, Wassam expressed to Harper's Bazaar Arabia before they were married that he's "fortunate enough to be dating (his) dream woman."
