‘Hannibal’ Season Four Coming Soon? Possible Network & Release Date?
"Hannibal" Season four may come soon if the show's creator and showrunner will have his way. It would be difficult but it could happen depending to the right circumstances.
"Hannibal" Showrunner and Casts
Bryan Fuller is the creator and executive producer of "Hannibal" when it was cancelled in its third season. NBC said the show was cancelled due poor ratings. However, "Hannibal" has a core fan base that would gladly see its return.
The show's creator told Collider that he and most of the main casts are willing to return for the fourth season of Hannibal. Hugh Dancy played the role of criminal profiler Will Graham. He told in an interview that Fuller gave his vision on what the fourth season would look like. Dancy, just like the other regular casts is also interested in returning to Hannibal if the show is revived.
Finding Network for "Hannibal" Season Four
"Hannibal" lasted for three seasons in NBC until its cancellation. The streaming rights were then taken up by Amazon. These present some complications on who owns the show rights in case production starts for the fourth season of "Hannibal".
Fuller said that they will have to wait for August of next year to examine their options. By that time, the rights for the "Hannibal" series should be ironed out. The creator also said that potential story lines for an upcoming "Hannibal" season are ready, according to indiewire.
As of press time, no network or streaming service such as Amazon or Netflix has announced any interest in hosting Hannibal season four. All the actors of this particular show have also been released from their contracts.
"Hannibal" Season Four Expected Air Date
It is highly doubtful that Hannibal will have a fourth season this year. Any future installment of this show will probably take several years from now. "Hannibal" fans hope it would be sooner rather than later.
