Trump’s Remarks About Women And How He Should Have Reaffirmed The Faith By Enacting A John Lennon?
Recently-revealed tape of Donald Trump has created a huge uproar in the media and people are very doubtful about him. The video, which is shot in 2005 has hateful and abusive remarks about women went viral in social media with many angered comments.
Though he apologized for the foul language, the percussion won't seem to be settled anytime soon. It became subject to serious discussion in the recently conducted second presidential debate as well. Many of his Republican Party members are now holding back the support due to the latest incident, reported The Washington Post.
His apology in the presidential debate not found to be authoritative and sincere, and not made any damage control, as he tried to corner the Clintons while saying sorry. Joe Raiola of MAD Magazine suggested through his article in The Huffington Post that Trump should have recreated a John Lenonn to win the hearts of the people.
During the initial years, Lennon was very skeptical about women and has written a number of songs defaming them. Some of them are "Women Is the Nigger of the World" and "Getting Better" that is co-written by Paul McCartney.
Also he reported to have done domestic violence and emotional abuse against women especially against his wives, which he later admitted in a 1980 interview. However, he transformed gradually and started singing about their glory and love. Especially the songs like "Woman" has reaffirmed his transcendence in praising women, whereas Trump's mere apology make it untrustworthy to most of the people.
As a presidential candidate, Donald Trump is losing the popularity day by day and should think about serious efforts to bring back the momentum. People are very dubious about him considering the recent scandals and it is not easy to get the trust with controversial remarks and political gimmicks. He can either think to recreate and reinvent himself as a responsible, caring and sincere candidate or can forget the presidential race.
