‘Suits’ Season 6 Latest Spoilers, Updates and Air Date: Gabriel Macht Plans To Leave The Show; No More Harvey Specter After Season Six?
"Suits" Season 6 Midseason left the air peppering some confusion to fans. With the boss Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) surprisingly leaving the firm, followers of the show fear that some stars might follow suit.
Earlier reports have confirmed Torres' exit mid-way through "Suits" Season 6 is due to her desire to spend more time in her hometown Los Angeles. Torres confirms this through an interview conducted by Entertainment Weekly.
She said that the decision to leave right at "Suits" Season 6 Midseason finale is "something that Aaron (Korsh) and I have kind of been talking about and banting about for a while. It's absolutely a mutual thing. Well, he wasn't that happy about it, 'cause we all love Jessica, but he's been awesome, as has been USA, about letting me come home for a while and tend to my life." However, this does not entirely mean that her character will not appear in some of the future episodes. Knowing how stubborn some of the cast's characters are, there will come a time when an advice from a Jessica Pearson will be needed.
One of the actors that are rumored to leave the show after Torres is Gabriel Macht who plays Harvey Specter, the central figure of "Suits" since day one. A report from FX News Call says that the actor is just finishing his final scenes with the show, specifically in "Suits" Season 6, before he finally sets his foot on other opportunities.
Macht wants to widen his knowledge in filmography and desires to land in movie stints by next year, thus, his heart-breaking decision. However, the report confirms that the makers of the show is still haggling with Macht and they all hope that they can all land to a clear decision before "Suits" Season 6 continues.
Itechpost shared one of the best name combinations the law firm can take from after Pearson's exit. It suggested the name "Zane Specter Litt". The same report says that "Suits" Season 6 will be back by January next year.
