NBA Trade Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins Is Asking For A Trade; Cousins Wants To Move To The Raptors; Kings Holding On To Cousins

Several NBA trade rumors are linked to the name of DeMarcus Cousins and yet until now he is still one of the subjects. DeMarcus Cousins could now possibly traded to the Toronto Raptors are in exchange of Jonas Valanciunas.

The Asia Starz reported that DeMarcus Cousins could land and play with the Toronto Raptors early this season. Aside from Jonas Valanciunas, the Raptors are also sending Cory Joseph and Norman Powell to the Sacramento Kings.

It's no secret that DeMarcus Cousins was involved in a numerous issues with the Sacramento Kings, on and off the court. Cousins don't also have a good relationship with his teammates due to his unpredictable attitude.

The Sacramento Kings played rough in the previous NBA season, playing the past 10 NBA seasons without reaching the NBA Playoffs. Cousins are having some hard time to tag along the whole Sacramento Kings organization. Reports said that DeMarcus Cousins might not return to the Kings after his contract expires and that could be a green light for the Kings to trade Cousins as early as possible.

According to the Chat Sports, the Sacramento Kings might also consider to improve their current roster at least until early next year. That could be the most possible way to retain DeMarcus Cousins as well as convincing Rudy Gay to re-sign next year. Both Cousins and Rudy Gay are expressing interest to leave the Kings once their contract end.

In addition, the Fan Sided mentioned in their report that the Sacramento Kings need to move forward since DeMarcus Cousins are showing no signs of interest to return. Attitude problem and short temper issues are the things that Cousins need to work on in order for him to become a true professional athlete.

Despite of his issues with the Kings, he still played well last season as he was able to finish his 6th NBA season with the Kings with a massive career high 26.9 points per night with an impressive 11.5 rebounds. Playing for almost 35 minuted per night, Cousins seemed to be determined to win every game he played.

Still no confirmation yet, the rumored NBA trade between the Kings and the Raptors will still hang on the table. The Sacramento Kings need to act quickly before the time runs out.
