Maul Reveals His Plan in New 'Star Wars: Rebels' Season 3 Clip

"Star Wars: Rebels" Season 3 is fast approaching this weekend, and it would seem like Disney XD's looking to start the season with a bang, as Darth Maul is slated to appear in this Saturday's pilot. Moreso, the network has posted a new clip depicting Maul as he reveals his plans for Ezra to an unsuspecting Hera.

Last season saw the return of the former Sith Lord, who was banished from service following his defeat at the hands of Palpatine during the events of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." The former Darth is now moving to lure Ezra to the Dark Side, who is seemingly flirting with the deadly power it possesses.

In addition, TVGuide.com's recent synopses for the season revealed that fan-favorite Wedge Antilles from the Original Trilogy will be having his animated debut in the episode "Antilles Extraction." In recollection, Wedge Antilles joined Luke Skywalker in his sortie against the first Death Star. He later became a vital part of the rebellion, eventually leading the legendary Rogue Squadron of X-Wing fighter pilots.

Hera, on the other hand, will be featured in an episode which will flesh out her past prior to joining the Ghost crew.

"Star Wars: Rebels" is slated for a return this Saturday on Disney XD.
