‘Mr. Robot’ Season 2 Recap and Season 3 Spoilers, Updates & Air Date: More Characters To Arrive As The Plot Thickens
The multi-awarded series about a cybersecurity hacker who suffers from clinical depression is creating a lot of noise lately. USA Network's "Mr. Robot" left fans saddened about the turnouts of Season 2. As the story gets deeper and deeper on each season release, there's no way that avid followers won't anticipate for Season 3.
With the series' unique storyline comes an equally inimitable protagonist named Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek). The unconventional take of creator Sam Esmail has stirred a lot of minds, Movie Pilot says. In "Mr. Robot" Season 2, the story direction went darker and has revealed more about the complexities of Alderson's personality and his boss, Mr. Robot.
Viewers were already warmed up with Alderson's confusing and mind-stirring alter-ego in Season 1. Alderson went through a lot of hallucination, which he found very hard to defeat. And then Mr. Robot came in to the rescue. However, it was slowly revealed that Alderson's existence could pose danger and threat to their operations in "Mr. Robot" Season 2.
Creator Esmail seemed to fall in love with his creations (show's characters) in his recent statement as reported by Christian Daily. He mentioned "falling in love" with Angela, Darlene and Tyrell while he was writing the developments of the story line. He also said that while these characters have been instrumental in "Mr. Robot" Season 2, avid fans can expect more characters to plunge into the upcoming episodes in Season 3.
A testament of the show's interestingly mind-boggling trait is the recent citation the lead actor received from Emmy Awards. Variety reported last September 18 that actor Rami Malek bagged the Best Actor Award in Drama Series category at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards. Meanwhile, fans can expect "Mr. Robot" Season 3 to arrive on air by June or July next year on USA Network.
