Sam Heughan recently revealed some hints about the storyline for "Outlander" Season 3, according to Movie News Guide. He shared that filming is done for the first episode of the upcoming season. He also added that there is so much emotional stuff in the show because of the long time that Jaime and Claire have been apart from each other. This is the first time that they meet again after two decades of being separated.

Aside from Jaime and Claire's reunion in "Outlander" Season 3, both characters will also age in the show. The aging of the characters is not merely of the number of years but also about the experiences they both have been through. This is most especially for Jaime, who has gone through a lot.
