'Supernatural' Season 12 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Castiel To Team Up With Crowley In Getting To Lucifer; What We Know So Far!
"Supernatural" Season 12 comes back with Sam thinking that Dean is dead and has been shot by Lady Toni (Elizabeth Blackmore). The British Men of Letters will be a big part in the upcoming season. Castiel (Misha Collins) is also said to team up with Crowley (Mark Sheppard) in destroying Lucifer.
In a report from International Business Times, while the focus for "Supernatural" Season 12 is on Dean and Sam Winchester reunited with their mother, it also will look into Castiel and Crowley teaming up. They are in a mission to destroy Lucifer (Rick Springfield) in the upcoming season.
It seems that Castiel is not happy about what Lucifer did to him. Crowley on the other hand wants to get revenge for being humiliated by the devil. In "Supernatural" Season 12, they will work together to take down the devil. However, defeating Lucifer may not be that easy and while they are fighting together to destroy the devil, Crowley will meet someone familiar along the way.
Russell Lemmons (Kadeem Hardison) is the new character that has a history with Crowley. The both will meet with each other in "Supernatural" Season 12. Lemmons has plans for Lucifer also known as Vince Vicente (Rick Springfield). With this meeting, Lemmons will not be happy to learn that Crowley has a different plan for Lucifer.
According to Variety, "Supernatural" has gone a long way as a series. Show creator Eric Kripke shares that it took them several seasons to realize that the show is good to go for a long time. That it has gained solid followers.
Kripke further shares that it was after "Supernatural" Season 4 that the show is guaranteed to be a solid one. He then left the show after Season 5 and this time the work is passed on to Andrew Dabb for Season 12.
"Supernatural" Season 12 is going to come back on October 13, 2016.
