'American Horror Story' Season 6 Promises More Terrifying Stories?

"American Horror Story" Season 6 comes with more terrifying story. This season, its new story "My Roanoke Nightmare" story recollects true mysterious event during establishment of the first colony in America.

"My Roanoke Nightmare" is the working title of "American Horror Story" Season 6 that promises to be more terrifying than previous stories according to Us Weekly. The season premiere airs last week on Wednesday Sept. 14 has chilled audience and die-hard fans alike.

The story follows two young married couple Matt and Shelby, as they told their horror story. "My Roanoke Nightmare" uses a new approach of story telling by using double cast as reported by Entertainment Weekly, to represent present day Matt and Shelby and the flashback version of the couple. Andre Holland and Lily Rabe plays the present day Matt and Shelby, while Gooding, Jr. and Sarah Paulson as the couple in the the reenacted timeline.

Other returning casts from the previous season are Evan Peters, Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Lady Gaga and Adina Porter.

In the "American Horror Story" Season 6, Matt and Shelby, played by Andre Holland and Lily tells their story of leaving LA after Matt was beaten in an attack by gang members. The attack caused Shelby to a miscarriage as reviewed by Huffington Post.

Matt and Shelby moved to North Carolina, and found a nice 18th century farmhouse. After they bought the house, they soon realize something wrong with the house. As they encountered very strange and scary phenomenon in the house and its neighborhood.

"My Roanoke Nightmare" also recollects the story of missing Roanoke colony that mysteriously disappeared in 1590, after the war between British and Spain ended. The colony was located in the present day North Carolina and established by Queen Elizabeth I to become a permanent British settlement in 1585.

There are many speculations regarding the disappearance of the colony, from Indian attack to alien abduction and many others. But none are proven. Follow the next episode of "American Horror Story" every Wednesday on FX at 10 p.m. ET.
