Calvin Harris Admits to 'Snapping' After Split From Taylor Swift

In his latest interview with GQ Magazine, it appears Calvin Harris has a lot to say particularly about his split with Taylor Swift. Despite the initial "amicable split," Harris had blown up on Twitter a few weeks after the breakup. Now, the world-famous DJ is backtracking on his statements and admits to having "snapped."

"It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me, and that was when I snapped. I'm not good at being a celebrity, but when it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. I'm a positive guy," explained Harris.

Fans of the couple would clearly remember the tweets sent out by Harris. Some of these include tweets about his hit with Rihanna "This is What You Came Here For," and a tweet about Swift's frenemy, Katy Perry.

Coincidentally, Harris' GQ interview was released right after news of the "Hiddleswift" split. According to a report by US Magazine, Tom Hiddleston and Swift officially ended their three-month relationship.

"Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection, but Tom didn't listen to her concerns when she brought them up," stated the source, adding, "They get along great and will remain friends, but they just don't see it working romantically right now."

With Swift once again single, would this mean reconciliation with former beau, Harris? Such possibility is unlikely given Harris has been spotted out and about with Mexican singer and actress, Eiza González. The pair has been spotted quite heavy on the PDA.
