Fans of Batman must surely be excited as Telltale Games announced at PAX West that Episode 2: Children of Arkham will be released on September 20 this year, as reported by The Iris.

The release will be available digitally worldwide for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Besides digital downloads, a special Season Pass disc will be available on September 13 in America, and on September 16 across Europe. The disc includes the first five episodes, and will grant access to subsequent chapters. This release is a bit over a month after debut the first episode, Realm of Shadow. According to CG Mag Online, Telltale is notorious for having several months in between updates. Does this mean a new change of pace for all their projects? Fans of the company can only hope so. In Children of Arkham, players will continue to explore the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne as they discover the consequences of his decisions as the Dark Knight. It also has a local multiplayer feature. However, PC Gamer reports that this feature is only designed for up to 12 players. If you would like to play with several people however, you still can. One of the new features tested by Telltale is the new Crowd Play feature, which would allow the audience to vote via their mobile devices and decide how the story unfolds, according to Tech Aeris. This feature was first unveiled during PAX West this weekend, during the playthrough of Episode 2. This should make for an interesting mechanic as it can open up discussion between players about what they think the right choices are, and how the story should go, making the game more social.

The first episode of Batman: Telltale series has received relatively positive reviews, with a 7.5/10 score from IGN, 4.5/5 from Game Rant, and 68% rating from PC Gamer. It is available for download on Steam for $24.99.
