"The Blacklist” Season 4 synopsis for its premiere episode was recently released revealing major hints about what will happen in the TV show.

The synopsis from CarterMatt teased that Red (James Spader) will be searching for Liz (Megan Boone). Although Liz deceived Red last season, he will still do everything to get her back. It will also be discovered that there are also other victims of Liz. Members of the Task Force will learn that she is still alive and they will realize that her death was merely a trick. Liz will also be abducted by a man who claimed to be her father.

To recall, Liz took steps to get her daughter Agnes away from Red while she left for Cuba with her husband Tom (Ryan Eggold). To start a new life, she faked her own death which she planned with the help of Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert), but Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen), a nemesis of Red and her biological father, abducted her.

Executive producers John Eisendrath and Jon Bokenkamp also teased that the earlier part of "The Blacklist” Season 4 will about how the Task Force will handle the betrayal of Liz when she faked her death. Others will consider it a huge betrayal. But did Liz regret her actions?

Even if Liz decided to go with Tom, the storyline for the renewal of the season will still focus on Red and Liz. According to Bokenkamp, viewers will never see Tom and Liz raising their daughter like what normal families do. But the writers said Tom and Liz relationship is true love.

“Moving forward, and now that they have a child together, we take very seriously that there’s a family there," said Eisendrath according to Entertainment Weekly. "Hopefully the audience can appreciate that they are a young couple who care a great deal about each other who have an incredible amount pulling at them,”

Find out more about Liz, Red, Tom and the Task Force in the next season. "The Blacklist” Season 4 will air on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
