It's been 25 years since Disney released the well-beloved animated rendition of "Beauty and The Beast" and we cannot deny just how people are excited with the impending arrival of its live-action remake. Moreso, the excitement just built up with the release of new set photos and concept art from the film, courtesy of a sneak peek video posted last night.

The said sneak peek is actually a fragment of a longer Behind The Scenes feature included in the 25th anniversary DVD of the said animated film (which is set to be released on September 6). The clip offered a quick look at the Prince, the set pieces, as well as the models for Lumiere and Cogsworth.

Furthermore, what made the clip noteworthy is the addition of Emma Watson doing a table-read of the script. "What are you reading?" Watson as Belle asks Dan Stevens (who plays the Beast), who captures the enigmatic, yet frightening tone of the aforementioned character.

While Watson herself isn't in the clip, her interesting take on Belle is more than enough to propel people's interest with the upcoming DVD, a promising sign of what awaits when Beauty and The Beast arrives on the big screen.

In recollection, talks for the film's conception began in April 2014, with Disney expressing their desire to develop a live-action rendition of the animated tale after the success of "Alice in Wonderland." Bill Condon was tapped to helm the movie, drawing much of its inspiration not from the 1991 flick, but from Menken/Ashman songs heard in "Beauty and The Beast's" Broadway musical. The following year, Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Ian McKellen, and Ewan Mcgregor all signed on to play the roles of Belle, Beast, Cogsworth, and Lumiere respectively.

Condon didn't reveal any details when asked regarding the film, but he only mused: "Technology has caught up to the ideas that were introduced in that [1991] movie."

"Beauty and The Beast" is set to hit theaters in 2017.
