Lenovo, a smartphone, laptop and tablet manufacturer has bought a new innovative product into the tech world which enables the user to write with a stylus pen on a paper and converts to digital typing on the screen.

The real pen accessory allows user to draw or write on keyboard just like a real pen. The stylus has an ink tip same as that of conventional ink tip, and because of the hinge option, the screen can swing all the way around which allows the user to write a notes on a paper while it's folded up with the screen off on the back and the tablet will record the written things. The pen does not need charging and no batteries are required.

According to BGR, Lenovo Yoga Book is the thinnest and lightest hybrid laptop which is only 690 grams comes in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold colors. It is accommodated with Android 6.0 Marshmallow - based Book UI, 10.1-inch IPS FHD screen, is powered by the Intel Atom X5 processor, RAM of 4GB, an internal space of 64Gb and expandable up to 128GB. It also has LTE connectivity option to insert a SIM card. The company claims that the Yoga Book has the ability to run continuously for 12 hours on a single battery charge. The prices of Android version and Windows version are revealed to be 499USD and 599USD respectively.

According to CNBC, Jeff Meredith, the head of Lenovo's tablet business, said "The product came out of a mobile mindset, it's important to differentiate because a lot of 2-in-1s come out of a notebook mindset. We came from a smartphone and tablet mindset with a touch keyboard and Android. A lot of things we have done has come from mobile logic rather than PC logic,"

He also added "If you are app-driven, cost centric, value simple and light design, it will have a lot of appeal. I don't see it as cannibalization, more as evolution of consumer behaviour. I think the tablet market is down, and we think the Yoga Book most certainly has an opportunity to inject some life into the tablet market."
