‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Spoilers and News Update: Is a Crossover with ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Happening?
Every fan of 'The Walking Dead' has agonized a good deal about the identity of Negan's victim after the cliffhanger finale of Season 6. The victim's identity has been touted to be the biggest revelation of the series and it will happen in the seventh season.
But according to reports, it might not be the most shocking part of the season. Something else is said to be in the offing. Of late, talks have been doing the rounds about 'Fear The Walking Dead' crossing over into its sequel. Robert Kirkman, the show creator, has also spoken about the timelines of both the series but the producers have denied the crossover rumors repeatedly.
Well, Robert did not put aside the rumors completely and said that a possibility of crossover exists. While talking to fans at Hawaii Comic Con, he said that the two shows are in different timelines and a crossover would be crazy. But he did say that the characters share the same universe and there is a good chance that they may encounter each other.
It would do fans well to remember that the show creators and producers are adept at planting surprises and they might have done so in the second season of 'Fear The Walking Dead.' A theory suggests that Daniel Salazar, who is assumed to have died in a fire might crossover to "The Walking Dead" season 7.
His body was never found out and he is assumed dead by many. Notably, the show has faked deaths in the past. Examples include Glenn and the dumpster scandal. So, it is quite possible for Daniel to emerge in the upcoming Season 7.
There is a high possibility that a man with charred face would appear in Negan's group of Saviors and he could very well be Daniel Salazar from the prequel. It would make perfect sense! After all, Robert has categorically said that the first episode of Season 7 would give viewers a major shocker and it would not be Negan's victim.
Who knows, Daniel is the likely shocker he has teased about.
