According to recent reports, Jessica Lange personally confirmed that she will not be back for the sixth season of "American Horror Story," not even for a small part. However, there were previous reports claiming that Lange will appear in the show with bit roles.

Even though Jessica reminisces her stint with the popular show and expressed her happiness about playing varied roles, she finds the fans' adoration for her rather funny. While Jessica has firmly shut the door on "American Horror Story," the fans can only find a little comfort in piecing the season 6 plot.

The most common rumor doing the rounds is that "American Horror Story" season 6 will be about the Slender Man. The first time villain Slender Man appeared in public was in 2009 when Eric Knudsen created him.

However, at the same time, there are also reports that even though Slender Man seems like a plausible plot for the upcoming season of "American Horror Story," the famous villain will not grace the TV screens as the show's season 6 plot.

So far, the show series consists of popular seasons such as "Murder House," "Asylum," "Coven," "Freak Show" and Hotel." In a recent article, Ryan Murphy pointed out that all the themes showed on the "American Horror Story" are interconnected. He also highlighted how "Murder House" season was linked to "Hotel." Thus, fans can expect more revelations in the upcoming season 6.

For now, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lady Gaga have been confirmed to return to the show's sixth season. "American Horror Story" is speculated to release its sixth season in fall.
