Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom News and Updates: Khloe Kardashian Has Filed Divorce Again
Heard that right! Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are divorcing again.
In a recent essay written by Khloe to Lena Dunham's Lenny newsletter she said "At my core, I don't believe in divorce"
But, what happened now?
Kardashian has filed to divorce the NBA star on Thursday with the help of attorney Laura Wasser. Khloe cited "irreconcilable differences," once again, as the reason for the split.
"Khloe is looking forward to moving on," tells a source.
The pair first filed for divorce in December 2013, but as you might remember, Khloe famously called it off in October of last years. Khloe's attorney went into court this morning and asked the judge to withdraw the divorce petition that was awaiting a judge's signature. The judge granted the petition and the divorce case was over.
A source told us at the time, "Khloe thinks this was the right thing to do right now."
Kardashian had rushed to her husband's side at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13.
"I just thought it was really insensitive to [expedite the divorce]," she admitted in an interview with KIIS FM. "I get it, I get why it's confusing, I understand all of that. James Harden has been great. He's been very supportive with everything. There's of course times where I'm sure he was really uncomfortable about some of the things, but I'm a very honest person and I have nothing to hide and I was very open with how I feel like I had to handle everything with Lamar."
Khloe recently opened up about about her Christian faith and her struggle with the idea of divorce for Lena Dunham's Lenny newsletter.
"It was a challenge for me when I decided to get divorced," she wrote. As Lamar spiraled, Khloe was faced with a tough choice. "At my core, I don't believe in divorce," she explained.
"But I came to a point in my marriage where I had to make the choice to take care of my own mental and emotional well-being in order to protect myself and my happiness. I am at peace with that decision and do feel like I honored my vows to the very end. I feel that I kept the serious vows I made in front of God with every inch of my heart, which is why I am still honoring them today even though my relationship with my ex-husband is in a different place.
"I believe in caring for my partner-past or present-'in sickness and in health,' and feel at peace with my relationship with God even after the fact. I'm thankful that I can rely on my God, who, along with my family, has led me through some of the most difficult times of my life."
