Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy News Update: Expecting Her First Child With Maks

Rumors suggest that Peta Murgatroyd, the ace dancer of the show 'Dancing with the Stars' is pregnant. Multiple sources has stated that Peta is pregnant, and expecting her first child with her fellow dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Both Peta and Maksim are professional ballroom dancers who got introduced to each other in the 2009 Broadway production 'Burn the Floor'. According to reports, Peta revealed that her camaraderie with Maks was not at the first sight as she felt that Maks was a bit arrogant. However, as they worked together, Peta found that he was really generous which in turn fuelled their relationship.

Peta was originally born in New Zealand and Maks came from Ukraine before they met each other in 'Dancing with the Stars' wherein their chemistry began. However, it was not a smooth engagement as both of them separated even before a year of togetherness in the year 2013. Maks was hugely disappointed at this, and they both reconciled again in October 2014. Peta described the short separation as a "little detour."

Finally, in December 2015, Maks officially proposed Peta on the dance floor. His dramatic revelation of his true love and interest in her left her speechless. Although there has been nothing heard of an official date of their wedding, it is quite pertinent that both of them are quite happy with the happenings and desire to have a family.

In an interview post engagement, Peta revealed that she is in no hurry for the wedding - however, she is eager to have kids soon. Maks, though on the same page on this, desires to have a daughter first, followed by a son whereas Peta wishes for the reverse. Therefore, considering the authenticity of the reports revealed, the couple would most likely have a baby before getting married. There is, however, nothing official as of now.
