Kpop News: SS301 to make a comeback
SS301 is preparing for the release of their new MV and album.
On May 20, SS501 subgroup's SS301 dropped a teaser image for the upcoming release of their special album thru their official SNS account. The teaser image shows details regarding the three-member group release date of new Music video that will happen on June 8 at 10 pm KST, and the releasing of their special album is set to reveal the following day, on June 9 at 12 am KST.
June 8 is also scheduled to be the 11th Anniversary of the group SS501 which fans and the group considered it to be very special.
As for the members Kim Hyun Joong and Park Jung Min who are currently attending the mandatory military service, the other remaining members are promoting for the sub-group SS301.
"SS501 debuted on June 8, 2005 with five members: Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun, along with their debut mini-album entitled Warning.They achieved their first number one song with "Never Again" (2005) and released their first studio album, S.T 01 Now in 2006.

The name of the band is a combination of letters and numbers that have special meaning. The first "S" stands for "Superstar", the second "S" is an abbreviation for "Singer", and the combination of 5, 0, and 1 symbolizes "five members united as one forever". Their first studio album entitled ST 01 Now is a combination of "S" from SS501, "T" from Triple S, and "01 NOW" which, when combined together, means "SS501 and Triple S united as one from now until forever"."
