One Direction News, Rumors and Update: Louis Tomlinson Revels The Darker Side of Fandom

Louis Tomlinson would be well aware by now that the press would not let go any opportunity to cover any leakage on 'One Direction' - and, Louis has been in the firing line for the last 12 months.

There has been a flurry stories and hypothesis last year or so portraying the negative side of Tomlinson. He is also aware of the fan following that the band 'One Direction' has, and the passion and emotional connect that the fans share with the band.

The One Direction Fandom, is the major spoiler in the party and Tomlinson is aware of the same. With large gathering of passionate people, there would always be a few who would go against the majority, and tarnish the image of the brand. And, with the social media upsurge at their disposal, their influence multiplies manifold. For most of the times, this medium is used to propagate positive agenda supporting Tomlinson but unfortunately, there has been some undesired infiltration to the lot.

Tomlinson has experienced both sides of the fandom effect. There have been attacks and accusations on Payne for poor choice of words. Zayn was not spared as well with a Twitter hash tag trending #CutforZayn. As per reports launched by Sun, the iCloud account of Harry Styles' mother was hacked by fans, which did have its impact on Tomlinson as well.

According to reports, a fan even obtained the private number of Louis, gave him a call just to wish 'dead' to him and his four month old baby. The authenticity of the report has not been confirmed however. Fans reacted to this insensitive remark from someone, and ushered their support to him over social media for Tomlinson.

Going by the conversation, the caller seemed erratic, opening the conversation by asking Tomlinson to follow him on Twitter - all of this marking a new low for 'One Direction.'
