'Captain America: Civil War' Update: Directors Put Up 'Thank You' Instagram Posts

The recent "Captain America: Civil War" success has spearheaded a fresh, new post. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo put up a video message on Instagram thanking their fans for their "overwhelming" support.

So far, the movie has a 90 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has raked in $737 million at the worldwide box office. The Russo brothers are thrilled that their fans love their movie.

In the message, Joe holds Cap's shield, while a Winter Soldier is featured in the background.

Meanwhile, even as they glow in their box office success, they pair is also working full-time on the ambitious two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" series. Even as they were editing for "Civil War," they were also meeting for story meetings with Marvel head honchos to discuss "Infinity War."

The upcoming series is the next big thing, says the video. So just hang on, fans.

A Comicbook.com  survey showed that "Captain America: civil War" shows an average rating of 88.14 among fans and a 4.54 out of 5. It is currently No. 2 slot in the all-time comic book movie rankings too.
